REAL ESTATE & DEVELOPMENT · LOS ANGELES

Mason Rad.

Realtor, Douglas Elliman
Founder, Rad Residences & Rad Development

Mason Rad is a Los Angeles–based Realtor with Douglas Elliman and the founder of Rad Residences and Rad Development. He represents buyers and sellers throughout greater Los Angeles, with experience in Beverly Hills, Hancock Park, the Hollywood Hills, Malibu, and Manhattan Beach. His work in residential sales and development connects an understanding of the market with firsthand experience acquiring, designing, and building homes.

Mason begins by understanding what a move needs to make possible. More space for a family, a different pace of life, or a home that can accommodate changing needs each calls for a different search. He helps buyers weigh their first impressions against the practical questions of layout, condition, cost, and location. When renovation is part of the conversation, he brings acquisition, potential use, and design into the discussion early, helping clients understand what adapting a property would involve before they commit.

For sellers, that same experience informs how a home is priced, prepared, and presented. Mason considers its architecture, construction, and everyday livability alongside competing properties, shaping a marketing approach that makes its value clear to prospective buyers.

Through Rad Development, he has taken on site acquisition, design team and contractor hiring, permit coordination, project management, site supervision, and financial cost reporting. That direct involvement gives his advice a practical foundation, particularly when clients are considering a property that needs work or deciding which improvements to make before selling.

His earlier experience includes managing operations for Jason Oppenheim, working with the Joyce Rey Team, and serving as Junior Project Manager at Plus Development. He holds a degree in Real Estate Land Use Affairs and Finance from California State University, Sacramento, with additional study in Construction Project Management at UCLA.

Mason’s interest in architecture is inseparable from the people who live in it. He pays attention to what clients want to keep from their current home, what they have outgrown, and what they hope to find next. Those conversations guide his work from the first meeting through negotiations and closing.
